Meeting with Chris Grant

On Wednesday, September 9th, we met with Chris Grant to make some final adjustments to our itinerary. Chris is a family friend who lives in Philadelphia and has been visiting Melbourne recently. She has kindly arranged our introduction to Friends' Select School in Philadelphia where we will visit on Monday, October 26th. Friends' is an independent school based on the Quaker philosophy which has a strong community involvement emphasis. Chris and her husband, Jay, have also offered to have us as house guests for a couple of nights and to lend us a car to travel from Philadelphia to Baltimore for the conference. It is very helpful to have some local advice regarding distance, transport, logistics and a spot of wining and dining!
